These new employees will work in several strategic areas, including engineering, procurement, finance, information technology and digitalization, as well as project management.
To kick-start its recruitment efforts, Alstom will hold a career event at its Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville site, located at 1101 Parent Street, on September 25, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This initiative is part of Alstom’s growth momentum, as the specialized site plays a central role in the execution of major contracts won by the company during the summer.
These projects include the design of the new M9-A commuter rail cars for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority in New York, as well as the additional order for 200 new commuter rail cars for the New Jersey Transit agency. In Canada, Alstom is actively preparing for design work on the Quebec City tramway and Toronto new subway trains.
“We are very proud to see our Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville site play such a strategic role in Alstom’s growth in North America. This period of expansion will allow us to continue developing our local expertise and innovation capabilities, as well as strengthening our role as a regional economic driver,” said Marie Couillard, General Manager of the site.
“This growth demonstrates the dynamism of our activities in North America and draws on the strength of the talent and expertise that exists in Quebec. We are very pleased to benefit from a high-quality workforce and look forward to welcoming our new employees, who will shape the transportation of tomorrow throughout the region,” added Michael Keroullé, President of Alstom Americas.
Since 2021, the Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville site has also been Alstom’s headquarters for the Americas region. In addition to its administrative functions and design and engineering capabilities, it houses a prototyping and innovation centre. Thanks to its unique expertise, the site is involved in most of the contracts won by Alstom in North America. It currently employs 940 people.
