Presentation of the new Coradia Stream regional train for Italy
On 30 September at 12:45 pm, at the Trenord depot in Milan Fiorenza, Alstom and Trenitalia will present the new Coradia Stream regional train, designed for the Italian market. Capable of reaching 200 km/h, the train can carry up to 1,076 passengers and offers dedicated space for 16 bicycles, combining speed, capacity and sustainability to meet the needs of modern mobility. The event will be attended by institutional representatives, customers and partners, testifying to the strategic importance of this innovation for regional rail transport.
Preview of the Smart Derailment Detector (SDD)
For the first time, Alstom will be presenting the Smart Derailment Detector (SDD), an innovative system capable of detecting trailer unit deflections in real time.
This technology represents a major step forward in terms of safety and reliability in rail freight transport, contributing to the transition towards more sustainable logistics.
