Dellner and CAF have signed a five-year global Service Framework Agreement, expanding their partnership beyond the original equipment deal for new rolling stock to cover lifecycle support across CAF’s fleets in the UK, Chile, Algeria and Italy. The agreement covers maintenance, overhaul, repair, spare parts, inspections and technical support through Dellner’s global service network.

The new agreement builds on the global Original Equipment (OE) Framework Agreement signed by the two companies last year for the supply of train couplers for CAF’s new rolling stock projects. Together, the agreements provide a comprehensive framework covering both the delivery of new equipment and long-term aftermarket support throughout the operational life of the fleet.

Under the Service Framework Agreement, Dellner will deliver a broad range of lifecycle services for CAF rail vehicles worldwide, including maintenance, overhaul, repair, spare parts, inspections, technical support and other aftermarket services through its global service network. As part of the agreement, Dellner will provide these services to CAF’s service operations in the UK, Chile, Algeria and Italy, supporting CAF’s aftermarket activities in these regions through a coordinated and standardized service framework.

The agreement establishes a consistent approach to service delivery across international markets, enabling standardized processes, coordinated planning and responsive customer support. This will help operators maximize fleet availability, improve operational efficiency and reduce total cost of ownership.

Paul Bennison, Head of Couplers Service Business at Dellner, said:”This agreement represents an important next step in our collaboration with CAF. It demonstrates our shared commitment to supporting customers throughout".
