Michael Peter to be Siemens Mobility’s sole CEO

Michael Peter will be Siemens Mobility’s sole CEO, effective July 10, 2020. Sabrina Soussan, who has been his Co-CEO until now, will leave the company at her own request to take on a new challenge outside Siemens AG. Until her contract ends on December 31, 2020, Ms. Soussan will remain available to Siemens Mobility in an advisory capacity.

Sheffield-based SME 3Squared has been awarded a major contract working on High Speed Two (HS2), generating new jobs within the South Yorkshire region. The railway technology company are working with one of HS2’s direct contractors, Skanska Costain STRABAG JV (SCS JV), who are delivering the tunnelling programme for the route between London Euston up to the M25.

Siemens delivers an additional 22 metro trains for Munich

After the first C2 metro train from the first option in 2016 entered service in May, Stadtwerke München (SWM) has also called up the second and final options for 22 six-car metro trains from Siemens. When all trains are delivered, Münchner Verkehrsgesellschaft (MVG) will operate a total of 67 C2 trains on its system.
