Teleste has signed an agreement with digital signage provider ZetaDisplay for the delivery of Teleste’s state-of-the-art information displays to Ruter AS, the public transport authority serving the Oslo and Akershus region in Norway.
“ZetaDisplay has been our trusted partner in Norway for years, and together, we have successfully delivered display solutions for a wide range of public transport environments. We are pleased to continue this collaboration and support Ruter AS in providing high-quality, real-time passenger information across their network,” said Claudio Borrello, Head of Display Solutions at Teleste.
The project includes three different sizes of stretched TFT displays, all featuring a 32:9 aspect ratio. These displays will be installed on various poles and shelters throughout the Ruter transit network.
“At ZetaDisplay, we are committed to delivering impactful digital signage solutions that elevate the passenger experience. Teleste’s state-of-the-art displays enable us to provide Ruter with reliable, real-time information in a format that is both visually engaging and operationally efficient. This collaboration ensures that public transport users across the Oslo and Akershus region benefit from clear, accessible communication every step of the way,” said Marius Lysholm, Country Director, ZetaDisplay.
To enhance aesthetics and functionality, the displays feature a newly designed door profile that offers a sleeker, more modern appearance with a narrower masking edge on the front glass. In addition, Teleste’s advanced display unit controller will be integrated into the displays, ensuring enhanced performance, strengthened cybersecurity, and optimized operational efficiency. Designed to meet the evolving demands of modern public transport networks, the unit not only reduces operational costs for transit operators but also enhances the passenger experience with richer, more engaging content.
